Making lasting change is hard. Just ask anyone who sets New Year's resolutions. Only 16% of those who set resolutions are still successful at the end of the year. The rest of us have abandoned our attempts within six weeks.
Been there and done that!
I've finally been able to make sustainable changes because of what I've learned about my diet and lifestyle choices and how they will impact me today, tomorrow and well into my future.
My education and training allow me to provide you with the tools and methods you need to achieve your new diet and lifestyle goals.
Some of the things that you will learn:

Living a balanced life just isn't possible. Different areas of your life need more of your attention during various seasons, months, weeks, or days.
Have you spent years chasing balance but spent most of that time frustrated and beating yourself up because you felt like my children, spouse, job, ministry, and health were always suffering? It like being on a merry-go-round that won't stop.
Living a centered life is different. It's acknowledging that you cannot do it all and surrender to the thing that centers you - your core values/faith. Living centered IS possible and is NECESSARY for you to have the most fulfilled life.
For some, that means quieting the noise through meditation/prayer or quiet activities, such as gardening, walking on beach or hiking.
For some, that means planning more meals with family and friends, where everyone can share in the preparation, laugh and find joy in good company.
The Newsletter and Blog are great ways to learn more about Centering Living.
The average medical provider visit is 15-18 minutes. That's it. You have concerns about symptoms you're experiencing and the doctor has 15 minutes to review your history, hear your concerns, consider the symptoms, diagnose the problem and come up with a viable treatment plan.
It's no wonder that 2/3 of the US population takes at least one prescription drug. The older generations are taking an average of four prescriptions.
Prescribing medications to alleviate pain, lower blood pressure, decrease cholesterol, balance hormones and regulate A1c, is the path of least resistance. The meds are not likely to resolve the root problem, and they usually come with side effects that cause other problems you'll have to treat.
As a Health Advocate, I can educate you on the side effects and drug interactions so you can talk with your doctor about these issues and possible alternatives.
